I work as an assistant research professional in the Civil and Environmental Engineering department at the University of Alabama, and I'm visiting research scientist at Purdue School of Engineering, IUPUI. In May 2022, I earned my Ph.D. in Civil Engineering. I hold dual master's degrees in Materials Science and Engineering and Environmental Engineering. Materials Science and Engineering was the subject of my BSc. Nanotechnology, materials synthesis, and its use in environmental engineering are the main areas of my research. I began studying this subject in 2015 at Iran's Sharif University of Technology under the direction of Dr. Ahmad Rahimpour. At the University of Alabama and IUPUI, I continued my education under the direction of Dr. Mark Elliott and Dr. Babak Anasori.
