Dr. Ahmad Rahimpour

           Dr. Ahmad Rahimpour has joined the department of chemical engineering at Babol Noushirvani University of Technology (BNUT) in 2008 after completing his graduate studies at Razi University. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from Isfahan and Razi University in Iran. Dr. Rahimpour has also received his degree promotion to associate professor in 2013. He has held a partial appointment as chair and vice chair of the department of chemical engineering at BNUT since 2011. His research is in the area of membrane fabrication, modification, and membrane-related separation processes. Current projects are on forward osmosis (FO) for desalination and wastewater reuse, osmotic membrane bioreactor (OMBR) for municipal wastewater reuse, membrane distillation (MD) for seawater desalination, modified membranes for gas separation and environmental applications of nanomaterials. At BNUT, he teaches courses on membrane separation processes and process control.
